User Status in Project Server 2003

We have experienced what seems to be a random, "automatic" user status change
from "active" to "inactive" in the user database of Project Server. All of
the users are set up using the same permission and security parameters for
the various groups to which they are assigned. This is especially
discomforting since the PMO VP is included in the groups of users being
deactivated!
Has any one experienced a similar situation?

Gary -
Thank you for your reply. The answer to your question is "yes." However, I
believe we finally identified the issue late yesterday after a further search
of the manuals. The solution seems to relate the treatment of resources in
Project Server that are not added to the database by the assignment of a task
on a project. This scenario requires the User_AD GUID box to be checked to
allow them to remain active in the database.
Is this where you were headed? We have made the change for one person - the
VP of course! - and went through a successful AD Synchronization last night.
If we go through another, we will make the change for all otehrs as
appropriate.
Thank you!
