User Sync Error

How do I specify groups that are listed under an OU for sync with AD? Every
time and variation I've tried give me the following error:

This group does exist in AD
Event ID: 2
Source: NT AUTHORITY\LOCAL SERVICE
Component: AD Connector
File: AutoADProcess
Line: -1
Description: <Description><![CDATA[AD PWA sync for : PJSAdmin - AD Group
Error - cause likely to be group does not exist]]></Description>
