user unable to add appointments to his calendar

any suggestion on how to solve a user who is unable to add appointments
to a calendar, he can view existing apppointments, but cannot create
new ones, accept invites or edit existing appointments.

no error messages occur when user tries, but nothing happens.

have tried running clean views switch, generated new profile and ost
file.


mailbox size limit is at less than 40% of set limit.

i have also checked users pst and they are less than 200mb.


any suggestions anyone?
