User has Windows NT, Office 2000 SBE, Outlook is IMO, No Exchange

I have a co-worker that is receiving an "unknown user" error when she
attempts to send an Excel document as an attachment using File|Send
To|Mail Recipient (as Attachment) in Excel. The recipient's e-mail
address in the error is not the same as address she is sending the
document to (i.e. she is sending the document to (e-mail address removed) but the
"unknown user" in the error is (e-mail address removed)). Also, the e-mail fails
to be sent.
My co-worker says that she did try to send an e-mail to
"(e-mail address removed)" a few months ago but realized (after she got an error)
that she misspelled the address. She corrected the spelling and said
that she was able to send the document successfully.
She only receives this error when she attempts to send a document as
an attachment through Excel. If she inserts the document into a
message in Outlook, she does not get an error.
There are no messages waiting to be corrected and sent in her
Outbox/Sent Items/Deleted Items for "(e-mail address removed)".
Why is she still receiving this error? How can we fix it so that she
is able to send attachments through Excel again?
Any help is appreciated. Please reply to the post and not my e-mail
