User with admin privileges as a Resource

Hi,
After installing MS Project server 2002 and adding a user
to the Administrators group, I am unable to add this user
as a Resource in the Enterprise Resource pool using
project professional. When saving PP wouldn't let me save
and complains about invalid user account. Would appreciate
any pointers on how to do this.
