userform close issue

I am still working in office 97 at the mo but can anyone tell me if it is
possible to either diasble the user form close prebuilt into all userforms.

What i mean by that is in the top right corner there is the x that if you
press, this unloads the userform.

is there a way that this function can be prevented from closing the userform
if the person hasnt completed the relevant sections and so skipping through
the various forms.

That certain works for Word 2000 and later. I think it will work for Word
97, but I don't have a copy of 97 here to check.
