UserID Issue In Project Server

Good Morning!

We are running Project Server 2007 on SharePoint, pulling the AD information
from a 2003 R2 domain server. All users are created on the AD server, then
created in Project Server. The problem we have run into is that when someone
goes into Project Server, goes to create an "Issue", and then assign the
"Issue" to a resource; the list that comes back shows a few of the users in
this format: <domain\UserID>, while the rest of the users show up as <First
Name Last Name>. All users have been setup in the same way on both the AD
sever and the SharePoint/Project Server. Anyone have any ideas on why this
might be occurring? Wee have spent many hours trying to find the answer, and
we are coming up short...
