I have a project manager/resource who somehow has two
accounts in project server. One is firstnamelastinitial
with windows authentication and the user name being
firstnamelastinitial as well. The second is the microsoft
project server account with FirstName LastName. This
person has published four project plans. Two seem to show
up under one name and two under the other. In other words-
the resource on two projects is firstnamelastinitial and
the project manager or owner is firstnamelastinitial as
well. The other two have FirstName LastName for the
resource and the project manager or owner. So basically,
when she goes to update her time, she only sees
firstnamelastinitial UNLESS she clicks on a link from the
email for a project with the name the other way and goes
into the task view that way. This is SO confusing. Project
Server admin will not allow me to get rid of one or the
other. We tried changing the resource (both are in the
enterprise resource pool) but that didn't work. We tried
disabling one and that threw spooler errors. Has anyone
tackled this before???
