Mr. Joshua
I've created a database, split it into front & back ends, and put copies of
my front end on other user's machines. These users have been given full,
read/write access to the necessary network folders on the server.
Unfortunately, no other users (besides myself) can access the data stored on
the back end. The database opens with the status message at the bottom of
the screen "Recordset is not updatable". Trying to open the back end
database (tables) gives the message "Database is read-only".
I've gone through the steps of securing the database with the security
wizard, and made sure that all users are setup to use the appropriate
workgroup file. However, the problem still persists.
Anyone have suggestions?
Thanks.
