users documents repaginate constantly

Is there someone here who could help with this problem? I
have a user (office 2000, windows xp) who is having a
problem with templates contstantly repaginating. Although
these are workgroup templates, no other user is having
this problem. It happens when he creates a document with
the templates or if someone sends him a document created
with one of the templates, but NO OTHER USER has this
problem. I have delteted his normal.dot, run the Office
repair tool and recreated his profile. Recreating his
profile resolved the problem for a week or two, so I
suspect that something is corrupting something in his
profile, but I don't know what is causing it or where the
damage is occuring. Does anyone have any ideas? Please
let me know.

Thanks,

Michael

Not sure if I understand the problem exactly, but I've had a problem having the exact same document show up with different pagination on two different computers, and discovered that if I switched my default printer settings to a post script printer it would solve the problem. May not be the same thing, but worth knowing if it is.

what do you mean "constantly regaginating"? I take this to mean that
the document continues to re-compute pagination at all times. This
doesn't make sense to me since I can't figure how you'd notice this.
What is the sypmtom you see?

At the bottom of the screen it actually flashes that word
is repaginating. This flashes on an off multiple times in
a continuous loop. The screen will also flicker
occasionally as if it is repainting the screen.
