users not added to project workspace

We have given users the ability to see the work spaces their resources
are assigned to via the rbs. Unfortunately, these users are not being
added to the work spaces automatically.

I have found that if I open the resource from the server settings page
and then save the user (no change required). The person is added to
all of the appropriate sites.

Anyone know the cause of this issue? How about a better resolution
plan --- 500+ resources will take a while if 1 at a time.

1) You could synchronize the site via PWA>Server Settings>Project Workspaces
2) You could re-publish the schedule and I believe this will synchronize the
user permissions
3) You can open up the security GROUP that has your 500+ resources in it
(Maybe the Team Members Group) and save the group. This should initiate a
user synchronization for all users in the group. This might be your best
option but be careful as a large number of users getting synchronizes with
WSS sites can take a long time and the job might eventually fail part way
through the synchronization.
