I have created a database and applied the necessary passwords and permissions
for the relevant users.
However, I have one problem in that my lowest scale users can still see the
main database window and can create therefore play around with new forms. Is
it possible to hide this window from them?

Thankyou, but is it possible to extend these for different users i.e. i can
view everything and the bottom end users can only view the switchboard?

You can always hold the Shift Key down to bypass all startup options. Just
don't let your "bottom end users" know about that.
