UsersForm don't work in 2004

I just replaced Office X with Office 2004 - a move that on the whole I
am very glad to have done. However, I decided to try to add a UserForm
to a 'sheet I'm working on. Brought up VBA Editor, selected a sheet,
did Insert UserForm. I got:

Microsoft Visual Basic
Class not registered.
Looking for object with CLSID:{C6A69F0-16DC-11CE-9E98-00AA00574A4F}

As I've never tried to use UserForm before, I'm not saying this is Excel
2004 at fault, yet. Anyone else seen this?

Also, I was able to add a userform to the 'sheet with Office.X, but 2004
choked on it.

I removed every file with Excel, Office, or Microsoft in its name that
was under my home directory. I started up Excel, it did a lot of
initialization, and after that UserForms are able to be inserted.

Hi Jerry,

It probably would be a good idea to run Disk Utility to repair permissions
and maybe let DiskWarrior have a go at your hard drive.
