I'm looking for suggestions on how to create a worksheet that is th
outcome of "subtracting" (i.e., removing) from a given single column i
Worksheet 1 all items that appear in a given single column in Workshee
2.
As an example, imagine column A in Worksheet 1 lists each letter of th
alphabet in rows 1 thru 26. Column A in Worksheet 2 lists the letter
A, B and C in rows 1 thru 3. What I am trying to accomplish i
Worksheet 3 is the creation of a list the contains only the letters
thru Z (i.e., the full alphabet excluding the letters A, B and C).
I will be saving this third Worksheet into a file unto itself and usin
it to upload this newly-created list into a separate, compatibl
program.
The one suggestion I've received has been to import Worksheets 1 and
into Access and use its database capacity to create my third list. The
export that list back to Excel. I know little about Access, so I'
trying to accomplish my task within Excel, if at all possible.
Any thoughts?
Thanks for any help.
