Using a command button to open a Power Point file

When i followed your instructions i received the
following message:

Invalid outside procedure, Do you know why i'm getting
this message?

At what point did you receive this message? During creation of the command
button using the wizard? When you click the command button?

Please supply more detail.

I received the message after I saved the form in design
view and clicked on the command button in form view.

The reason I asked if you used the wizard is that the error you report is
often due to code being placed in the Declarations section of a form's VBA
module - as opposed to in a procedure.

I'd suggest that, while in VBA, that you click Debug on the menu and then
select Compile to see exactly where the code is failing.
