Using a template created in 2007

Will I face problems if I distribute a template created in Project 2007 to
users who are using Project 2003? I just want to do some simple
customisation of the template, e.g. create a new table, new view, so I'm not
looking to employ any of 2007's unique features, but I'm worried that if I
set this up in 2007, the 2003 users won't be able to open/use the template.
Can anyone help?

Hello KimboR,

If your Project 2003 users have SP-3 installed, they should be able
to open the Project 2007 file. I cannot guarantee obviously that
all will go swimmingly, but in quick testing I did not see any
errors. I suggest testing fairly extensively.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hi Julie. Thanks for your response- I managed to do a bit of my own user
testing and didn't encounter any problems with what I wanted to do, so I
think it should be OK.

Great KimboR. Thanks for the update and do post back to the
newsgroup again if you have any further questions.
