Using Access 97 on the Same Computer as Office XP (License issue)

I have Office XP installed but need to do work on an Access97 database. I
installed my old copy of Office97 (with only the Access component) but when
I try to use it I get the message "Access cannot start because the is no
license for it on this machine." It is a legitimate copy and I have the
license and CD-KEY.

Any thoughts?
