using access in Frontpage

Does anyone have any advice upon using access as the DB
in frontpage.

I have put together a very basic site which has an access
database linked to, it is hosted upon the web with
btinternet and there are no results within the lookup.

any clues / links to where i can find out further info

A frontpage newsgroup would be a better place to ask, for example,
microsoft.public.frontpage.client or one of the three
microsoft.public.frontpage.programming... newsgroups. There are some
participants there who are very knowledgeable about Front Page and
databases.

You don't describe or provide enough information for a well formed response.
If you're not receiving results from data that you expect to be there, then
there are many reasons this could happen such as bad SQL passed from the
page's query or look up; bad syntax in your page to write the result set out
to the client's HTML page, etc. etc.
