Using Autocorrect to create HARD SPACE

I've been working on this for a few days now and haven't had any luck so far.
I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this process.

I'm trying to create an autocorrect value that will replace a "space, hypen,
hyphen" with a hard space. I've been trying to copy the code from the hard
space and haven't been able to bring that into the autocorrect window.

I was also thinking this could be done with a Macro, but would rather
automate it if possible.

Thanks in advance,

What is the difference betweent the "space" preceding the hyphens and
a "hard space??

You cannot create an autocorrect trigger sequence that begins with a space,
although creating an autocorrect entry that includes a non-breaking space is
simple enough. Select the non-breaking space and from the autocorrect dialog
click the 'formatted' check box.
If you want to replace space+hyphen+hyphen with a non-breaking space you
will have to use the replace function or a macro.
