Using autocorrections defined in a template

Hi,
In a template I've made, I have defined autocorrections to be able to
write long names and such using abbreviations. Now, in new document I
started, I have added the template ( the template shows underneath
"global templates
checked items are currently loaded"

, within Tools --> temlates and addins.

Still, the autocorrections are not available in my new document. Why?
How can I make them available?

Autocorrect entries are not stored in document template or added global
templates, so unless you have access to the normal template that stored the
formatted autocorrect entries or the ACL files that store unformatted
entries, you are not going to be able to use them in your documents.

Suppose I have access to the files you refer to - how can I then use
the autocorrect entries?

If you are working from a PC that has access to those files, they will
automatically be available. Note that they are language dependent. They will
only work if the language at the cursor is the same as the language at the
cursor when you created the entry. e.g. An English UK entry will not work
with English US language.

Unformatted AutoCorrect entries are stored in .acl files based on language.
You must be using the same language that was applied to the text when they
were created. For example, if the language applied to text when you created
the entries was French (never mind that you were actually typing in
English), then they will not be available when the language at the insertion
point is English.

To see what entries are available at any given point, open the AutoCorrect
or AutoCorrect Options dialog (how you do this will depend on Word version)
and check the list to see whether the entries you created are available.

Also, do not confuse AutoCorrect with AutoText. AutoText entries can be
stored in templates, but their insertion is not fully automatic. In Word
2003 and earlier, provided you have AutoComplete enabled, you will get a
ScreenTip when you type the first few characters and can insert the entry by
pressing Enter or Tab. In Word 2007, AutoComplete is not available (except
for dates), so you have to press F3 instead. AutoComplete is restored in
Word 2010, but only for entries in Normal.dotm.

Changing the language did the trick. Thank you for helping out.
