Using AutoNew macro with both Fill-in and Text Form fields togethe

Donna

I have a template that uses the fill-in/ref fields in combination with text
form fields/check box fields. I would like to utilize the AutoNew macro to
put the insertion point where the user will begin typing after merging
through these fields. However, the document merges through the fill-in fields
first, bypasses the text/check box fields, and goes directly to the bookmark
designated in the AutoNew macro. Is there a way to utilize these two types of
merge features with the AutoNew macro and get to get my desired outcome, or
do they have to be used independently?

Change the bookmark in the AutoNew macro to the formfield that you wish the
selection to go to.

I would not think that it is necessary to use fill-in fields if you are
using formfields. Whatever it being put into the fill-in field could be put
into a formfield and the cross references could be to the text of the
bookmark assigned to the formfield.
