using "Chapter x" instead of "x" at TOC

Hello,
In my document, the TOC reflects the headings successfully as:

TOC:
1 Talking Talking Talking
1.1 ...
1.2 ... etc.

I would rather like it like that:

Chapter 1 Talking Talking Talking
1.1 ...
1.2 ... etc.

What changes di i need to do at the text headings and at the TOC? Could
anyone please help with the right steps?
Many thanks.

Thank you, but could you elaborate a littele bit more on that? I am just a
beginner!
Any procedure, examples, or steps available for that specific question?

Thanks again.

See the Help topic "Field codes: TC (Table of Contents Entry) field." To
include the TC fields in the TOC, you must check the box for "Table entry
fields" in the Table of Contents Options dialog.

Thank you again. I think I have not explained my problem quite clearly; I
have aleardy a TOC which reflects all the heading levels I make in my doc. My
problem is that I would like the TOC level 1 to say "Chapter 1 ..." instead
of what I currently have "1 ..." . The remaining levels should stay
unchanged, 1.1 ... 1.x, etc.

Example: If I now enter somewhere in my document at heading level 1 "Chapter
1...", the TOC will refelct it as " 1 Chapter 1..." which is not wanted. It
should rather print "chapter 1 ...).

Any solution for that? (procedures or steps)

Many thanks.

If your chapters are numbered with "Chapter" as part of the numbering, then
this is what should show up in the TOC. If you are getting an additional
number before "Chapter 1," then it sounds as if numbering has been applied
to the TOC 1 style and needs to be removed.
