Using Crystal reports

Hello,

In my form I have a command button to print out reports using MS Access
coding is easy to do, but now I want to use a better report writer such as
Crystal Reports. How do I code so when a user press the command button a
particular Crystal Report will pop up. Any tips for web site to visit will
be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

"a better report writer such as Crystal Reports"? Them's fightin' words in
these parts.
I suppose it's a matter of requirements, skills, and experience but I can't
imagine better reporting functionality than Access (except for the next
version of Access which will blow everyone away).

Your're probably better off to ask Crystal that.

I myself just converted a massive headache Crystal Reports project to
Access.

One of the main reasons for doing so was to be able to automate the printing
of paper and PDF reports with Access.

As you said, it is easy in Access.

You should really define the exact areas where you feel Crystal would be
better and then find out if there is a way to do it in Access.

The reality is that all software has idiosynchrasies, and you'll probably
encounter some of these in CR as well. You really have to evaluate the
tradeoffs.
