Using data from a worksheet in Web pages

Using FrontPage 2003 SP3

Details of my golf club's fixtures, events and bookings are listed in a
worksheet on a daily basis for a calendar year and frequently edited for
changes and new bookings. There are 10 columns of data items and this
work is done in the club's office. The current worksheet is emailed to
me each month.

To get started I created a page for each month by saving from the
worksheet each month's data as a .csv file, importing that file into
FrontPage, opening it in Notepad in FrontPage (Open with), copying and
pasting into each new page and using Table | Convert | Text to Table to
create the table of data. I have then formatted the table using HTML
and CSS.

However I cannot see a way to update the data other than manually!
Ideally I would want to delete the data from its table and copy and
paste the newly issued data into the table so not disturbing the
formatting (similar to the copying and pasting of data in Excel).

Elsewhere I have been told to use ASP (of which I have no knowledge) as
a better of doing this. As I understand the process ASP would, server
side, populate the data pages on demand from the worksheet that is on
the server. So the data would be as up to date as the worksheet on the
server. Am I right in this?

Or is there a way more suited to my limited abilities and usage of
FrontPage? Your constructive comments and guidance will be very much
appreciated.

If you are hosted on a Windows server you can use the FrontPage Database
Wizards to update the pages from an Access database.
The Access database can be updated from the csv file, but you will need
Access on your PC to do this.

There is a method to use the Excel spreadsheet as the database, but this
method is only suitable for low traffic web sites - strictly one
customer at a time:

Thank you for responding. Since my original post I have found that the
hosting server, provided by a family member, does not support ASP. So
it follows that at least in the present circumstances I have to find an
alternative.
