Using Database Wizard

I was told that I can use a wizard to build a database (i.e. a client contact
database thru a template). When I tried to do so it kept asking to connect to
an SQL server first. All I want to do is create a database shell using a
template - such as CRM etc., and then upload the data into the appropriate
tables. Is this possible?
