Using dateAdd function in Access

I am trying to create a report that shows a series of events such that when I
enter the date for event 1, the date for event 2 shows up as 90 days later, i
have tried to use =DateAdd("d", 90, [FCLComittment]) as the default value for
event 2 where the field FCLCommitment is the the field label for the fisrt
event. Both values are in the same table

Where did you put this Default Value expression? in the field's Default
Value for the table? in the control's Default Value for the report?

More details, please.

Tgif1400,

I agree with Ken.

However, it may help you to know that a Default Value is applied at the
point where a new record is started. Since this appears to depend on
the value of another field in the same record, the entry of the other
field's value is "too late" for a default value to be applicable.
