Using default "file as" and import

I am using Outlook 2003. I have set the default "file as"
to company for adding new contacts. I am importing a csv
of my contacts and was hoping this would add the records
using company as the "file as". It does not. Any help
would be appreciated. Thanks,

No can do. That setting only applies to newly created Contacts, not imported
ones. You can use code to change File As fields globally for existing
Contacts. The KB has many references to that code.
