Hi all,
(Using Outlook 2003 SP2)
I've recently setup my shiny new IP phone with a TAPI driver. All is
configured well, as I can use the Actions.. place call.. and things
work as expected. When I right click a contact from a smart tag (from
a web page, or an email), I see:
Call -> "XXX-XXX-XXXX (Work)...". When I choose one of those options, I
get an error:
"There may be a problem with your instant messaging configuration. Make
sure your instant messaging application is installed and running."
Now this is strikingloy odd, as the dialer works from the contact page
just fine. And, I happily use Trillian for my IM needs.
Any ideas? Not a huge deal, but we're going to be rolling these phones
out company wide soon and I'd like to have some good news. It kinda
stinks that Outlook isn't smart enough to let me right click dial from
the Global Address Book, but oh well.
Cheers!
