Using distribution lists when creating rules

When creating a rule, we would like to use a distribution list so that if
changes are made to the list, the rule does not have to be modified. When we
try this, it gives us a message stating that the list will be changed to
individuals (therefore no updates). Is there any way around this?

Thank you!

Why did you post this again when you were already answered?

Hi Brian,

I "tried" to post the first time. When I tried to save, I got an error
message, I do not remember the exact text, but it basically said to try
later. I did. (one called Using distribution liss when creating rules, the
other Using distribution lists in rules)

I cannot tell you why the original post then showed up (several times I may
add). I never received your reply or the reply from another copy of the same
post either, although I checked the Notify me of replies box. The same
person asked me again today so I decided to try another search to see if
there was anything new posted by others, I assure you I was surprised to see
that I had replies, never mind several posts themselves!

I try to respect the forums, I know that you volunteers work very hard to
help others and I would not voluntarily waste your time.

Thanks for checking!

The web interface is buggy at best. You may find the exprience much better if
you were to use a real newsreader like Outlook Express, Thunderbird, Forte
Agent, or another.
