Using documents across several projects

I have some documents that are relevant to several projects.

How can I store these in SharePoint in a way that enables me to link to them
from all the projects rather than having to hold a copy in each.

Thanks Faisal but although I can store documents thare that eveyone can
access, I cannot link tasks, risks or issues in individual projects to them.

What I am trying to acheive is a library of, for example, specification
documents which apply to a complete system. We may then have several project
which need to reference or update those specifications. At present, I can
only seem to do this by uploading the document within each project which then
means I have several copies that are independant of each other.

I hope I have explained that OK.

Merf:

In it's current conception, Project Server doesn't do a very good job of
supporting multi-project "programs" which is precisely your requirement. You
can work around this by manually controlling access to the various project
sites by either adding users through SharePoint administration, through
petty assignments in the related projects, or by creating a separate
"program" site where everyone is expected to post their documents. If you've
got developer skills on your team, you can automate some of this management
overhead. Understand that these workarounds will not be recognized in the
PWA interface which uses very rigid routines to control this access.
Remember that you can easily add a menu item to the PWA interface and point
it where you want.

Thanks Gary, a shame though as this would add a great deal of valeu, at least
from my perspective.

I think I will just have to work within the limitations at the moment as the
other options appear a bit too time consuming for what I can acieve at the
moment.
