Using Downloaded Stationary

I downloaded a holiday stationary to use for one of my e-mails. When I
downloaded the stationary it opened as a Word document and saved as a word
document.

When using e-mail obviously I can not choose the stationary as a word
document.

Can someone walk me through the steps please, from downloading it, maybe I
needed to save it as something else xml??

I am using Outlook 2003 and the stationary was usable for versions 97 and up.
Thanks!

Here is the link. The more I think about it I'm wondering if this is just
plain stationary for word and not usable in Outlook. I'd like to find a way
to make it Outlook capable. Thanks for your help

Yes, this is a Word template, which is why it's not behaving in Outlook the
way you expect or want.

I don't know much about creating Outlook stationery, but
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HP052426651033.aspx?pid=CH010046011033
might get you started. It's looking for an HTML file, so if you want to use
that Word document, you may need to save it as an HTML file first, I'm not
sure. You'd use File | Save As and select HTML from the "save as type"
dropdown box.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290843 may also help.
