using drop-down list box

I've build a repeating table with many columns. Some of them are drop-down
list boxes, bound to a secondary datasource. There is not very much place for
every column and so, the dropdowns only show me the first characters of the
strings inside.

I need the functionality from the standard Acess or VB combox - there you
can declare the width of your control and the width of the columns contained
in the appearing list seperatly.

Is there something in Infopath that can help me? ...or somebody know a
ActiveX for my problem?

(more than 1column in a combobox also would not be bad)

Thanks in advance,

You can set the width of the Drop Down to be a specific size (ie; 2 inches)
in the properties for that control.
You can then set the width of that column to be less (ie; 1 inch).

When the user drop the list box, they will see the full specified width so
that entries such as North Carolina are fully displayed.

The problem is that in the table, if the column is too narrow, the user will
only see 'North...' and not know if that is North Carolina or North Dakota.

Thank you, for your reply.

A good solution, if there were a way for editing the borderstyle of the
dropdown.
But so I think a little bit to ugly for giving the result to our customers.

Thanks,
