Using Excel as a form in Access

K

Keyur

yes, open a new Access database, go to file and 'Get
External data' u can either import it or link it to excel
(linking is good when u want to keep both formats as if u
change in one format it will update the other one, but u
can only open one file format at a time i.e. either excel
file or database) just follow the prompsts then. also this
will create a table and then u can go ahead and make
forms. they will all be linked.

Go to Access help and type in 'import or link data and
objects' go the link with the same title. it has
procedures for all different kinds of formats u can link to

There is also an Excel add-in made by Microsoft for this.
