Using Excel data to power Visio

I do not doubt that this has been covered eleswhere (pleae point me to
links if so), but I wish to draw ovals in Visio using input data from
Excel as the DrawOval parameters. Both programmes are Professional
2003 versions, but I seem unable to access e.g. Excel ranges using a
Visio based script.

Hello Andy,

Here's an example from another Office app to Visio, but you could easily
just change the CreateObject and respective parts to say Excel.Application
to control Excel from Visio: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/309603
