Using fields to "jump around" a document

J

Jason Paris

Hi all,

I've been asked the following question by one of the Word users in my
organisation:

"If you've got fields in a Word document, is there some way to just
TAB between each field?"

In other words, can a Word document be navigated in the same way as,
say, an online form..... where you jump from field to field with a
press of the TAB key?

Not strictly a "Mail Merge" question, I know.... but perhaps someone
here would know?? :)

Many thanks,

Jason Paris

No, but the user might want to try the F11 and Shift-F11 keys. Next
Field/Previous Field. Also, look into MacroButton fields.

See the MVP FAQ: <URL: http://www.mvps.org/word/> which is awesome!
