Using Find in Outlook 2003...

....Since upgrading to Outlook 2003, I have noticed that when I use "Find" on
an email folder, it is searching the oldest items first, whereas the previous
version searched the newest items first.

Since I'm usually looking for something a month or two ago, rather than two
or three years ago, the previous version was far quicker. Is it possible to
configure Outlook 2003 to search the newest first?

No, IIRC it only searches newest items first when connected to Exchange
without Cached Exchange Mode. Either way you are probably better of
searching for items with a search add-in. Microsoft offers 2 add-ins that
can do this for free; Lookout and the MSN Desktop Search. These are way
faster than the native Outlook search.
