I have a FindRecord control button on a form (created
using the control button wizard). If I change the Look In
text box option to the form's name (Match any part of the
field) it does not locate the record specified in the Find
What text box (even though the record does exist). If I
change the Look In text box option to a specific field
(i.e., FirstName), then it will locate the record.
Because I want to use this FindRecord control button to
search and find a record based on any one field (i.e.,
FirstName, LastName, or SSN), how can I fix this so it
will find searching the entire form?
Interesting side note: This FindRecord control button did
function as desired (described above) until I added more
records to the database. And, now when it does not locate
the record specified in the search, I do not get the "pop
up window" saying record not found, it only indicates that
on the status bar.
Please help!!!
