Using Frame to resize imported BMP image?

Hi,

Is it possible to use a frame or text box to control the size of an
imported BMP image? I want WORD to resize the image rather than just
crop whatever is outside the frame or text box. The BMP image is
always larger that I would like to import, any suggestions on how I
can achieve this?

You may use a frame, a textbox, or a shape but make sure the height/width
ratio is (close to) correct.
Right Click, select "Format frame" (or what else figure used). Select colors
& lines. Click "lines" where you can remove the border. Click "fill", click
"text effects", click "Picture". Select.
