Using Frontpage 2003 to develop Office XP PivotTables (OWC)

In our department, our 5000+ users are all using Office
XP. We recently upgraded our Frontpage 2002 to the current
2003 version. We use Frontpage to develop web pages that
use the Office PivotTable Web Components to connect to our
SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services cubes.

However, since the upgrade, we can no longer edit our web
pages because Frontpage 2003 does not seem to understand
Office XP Web Componenents (OWC 10).

Is there a way to configure Frontpage 2003 to allow us to
develop web pages that use the older office web
components? (OWC 10 instead of OWC 11)?

I was able to open web pages (that reference OWC10 pivot tables)
in Frontpage 2003 by changing the classID of the object.

To get FP 2003 to recognize the page, the class ID was changed from
classid="CLSID:0002E552-0000-0000-C000-000000000046"
to
classid="clsid:0002E542-0000-0000-C000-000000000046
**

For some reason, OWC10 is accessible via 2 different classids.
Only the second classid was recognized by FP 2003, although
both web pages open with problem in IE browser.

Anyone know the difference between the 2 class IDS? Both refer to OWC
10
(Office Web Components version 10.0.0.6619)

Were you able to resolve this? If I make this change as
shown below, I can see it in FP,but then my clients
cannot see them in IE

We did not test if our clients could see the web page after changing
the classid (though it did work on our development machine).

For the moment, we've gone back to using Frontpage 2002...
