Using godaddy email with Entourage 2008

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: imap

I need some help!!! I use entourage 08 for my godaddy email acct (imap), the problem is it take 3-5 min. to send any kind of email no matter what settings I try. I receive mail fine but it takes FOREVER to send.

Have you contacted GoDaddy? It sounds like you are having problems
connecting to their server to send.

That's a common response, but Entourage has nothing to do with how quickly
you can connect. Have you tested in a different environment? I could test
for you, but you would need to trust me enough to do this for you. Let me
know and we'll connect off list.
