Using IF fields to create new paragrapgh's

Craig

I have set up a word document with series of ASK and IF fields but the
formatting is not very good. With the if fields i set up the response is if
yes then insert some text but if no then blank,

But i need it to insert a new paragraph after the text and if there is no
text i don't want it to create a extra line?

Craig;

Are you using a table or a query in your database to populate the
fields in the word document?

If you are not using a query, create one and do what you nee to do in
the query using the IIF function. I am sure you can do what you need to do
in the method instead of applying VBA code to the Word document. It is a lot
cleaner and easire. It is also easier to debug.

Good Luck

Let me Know how it works out.

Hi Craig,

Simply embed the paragraph mark inside the IF field, the append the field to the following paragraph.
