Using Infopath with Access

K

Im new to this Infopath program... my boss wants to use a infopath form to
provide a sales quote... and wants to link it to access.. Is this option
available? It sounds to me like more of a web based form than a form to use
with access... Is it possible for infopath to retrieve information from
access and show it in your infopath form... or is infopath a input only form?
Please let me know if im headed in the wrong direction and should just make
the form and report in Access??

An InfoPath form is not an input only form. You can bind it to an Access
database to retrieve information. And while InfoPath 2007 supports web-based
forms, InfoPath can still be used as a standalone client.

To learn more on how to connect InfoPath to Access, see

And for a list of other Access resources, try:

BTW, creating reports is not a strong point of InfoPath, so if you want
reports, I'd suggest to stick with Access.

Access and Infopath should work hand-in-hand.
