Using input for formula and displaying result

Is it possible to setup a formula that will allow me to type a number in a cell and use that number in a formula in that cell then display the answer? (i.e. My input number changes monthly but I want to always subtract 15 from that number and display the result in the cell.)

A cell can store a value or a formula, but not *both* at once.

You can enter the value in a cell such as A1, then in another cell enter the
formula: =A1-15
