Using Java or JScript with Office 2007?

Hi All,
I know this is probably not the correct forum to get this answer.
I am familiar with the use of VBA in Office Applications 2007, but is
it possible to use other languages such as JScript or Java to to carry
out the tasks that VBA can do?

Thanks in advance.

If those languages allow you to write COM Add-Ins, then yes. As far as
them being used as scripting languages inside Office akin to VBA, I
don't think so.
I don't know for sure, but my guess is that you won't get far with
Jscript or Java when it comes to writing Office add-ins or VBA like
macros for Office
