Using jpeg files in Word

Anyone experience difficutly in viewing jpeg files in Word. All of a sudden,
I cannot see jpeg graphic files which are inserted into my letterhead (ie:
company logo). It shows up in print preview and on hard copy prints, but I
cannot get the image back on the screen in standard viewing modes.
Similarly, when I open saved templates (ie: letterhead) the top of the page
is cut off just below where the logo should be.

Any advice would be appreciated.
