using keyboard arrows

can the arrow keys on the keyboard be used increase or decrease the length od
a wall on a building plan diagram

I don't think so - you can't really mark an individual endpoint in such a
way that it stays selected.

You could, however, glue the wall's endpoint to a guide point, which you
drag from the top-left corner of the rulers. Then, you could select the
guide-point and move it with the arrow keys.
