Using Ledger Data in a Pivot Table

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I would like to use data entered into a preformatted ledger in a pivot table. The pivot table wizard button is not available when data from that ledger is highlighted. I copy and pasted the data from that ledger to make sure there wasn't a problem with the data, and it worked. I would like to reference the data directly from the ledger though. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure there isn't another workaround, but I don't believe you can do
so. The sheets generated from the Gallery are special constructs with
different properties & mechanics than worksheets... for one thing there re
no Row & Column Headings, therefore no cell references.
