I am attempting to create a new document in Word for our
school that uses form fields. I have locked the document
so only the form fields can be written in. We are
networked and we need other uses to view but not write to
the document when it is done. Is there a way to further
lock/block the document with a password or specific rights
by certain users to keep others from writing to a finished
document? The document would need to be updated (changed)
by the original user the following year.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
