using mailmerge to lists courses on one page

I want ot create a certificate showing a list of courses students have
attended. I have the list in Excel but how do I mailmerge the list so that
all of one students courses will appear on the same page. I would prefer to
use Publisher 2003 but could use Word if that is easier.
