Using MHT files

I save articles about my organization that I find online in a folder on the
network. I’ve been saving them as “Web Archive, single file (*.mht).†Is
this the correct way to save them? And will I still be able to access them
even if the original webpage or website is taken down from the internet?

Thanks

If it works for you, it's correct. Some browsers may not be able to open MHT
files, but as long as your browser does, you're in good shape.

Yes.

If there are links from your MHT to other files on the net that've been
removed, of course those links won't work.

Thanks, Steve. That's what I needed to know.
